JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a Global leadership role and manages all product implementations at EKA. (S)He and would be responsible for Client engagement, program management, people management and participate in overall planning and execution of the delivery strategy. The ideal person would be an accomplished Professional Services Manager with a history of delivering multiple engagements / projects on time, on budget of high quality to international clients. The incumbent should have worked with a world class software product company, IT consulting organization or systems integrator with relevant experience delivering complex business software solutions. In addition, the person is expected to have had full P&L responsibility with previous history of developing excellent long term relationships with customers. A key requirement would be ability to handle global clients with global leadership skills. The key objective for this role wou ld be to deliver all Eka projects successfully in an onsite/offshore model out of the delivery center at Bangalore. I. EDUCATION: BE, Btech, MCA or any Masters Level from a reputed university. II. EXPERIENCE -12+ years of relevant IT experience and in which 6+ years in a project / program management role successfully delivering multiple product based implementation/deliveries. -Strong skills in leadership, negotiation skills, decision making, client engagement, people management, execution and drive. -Led diverse teams of 50 or more people in a dynamic and fast-paced environment -4+ years of client management experience with primary accountability for peer-level client relationships at the executive level -Demonstrated experience in delivering simultaneous multiple full project lifecycles from project initiation to final delivery and sign-off/closure is a MUST -Previous experience in consulting, conducting client workshop would be an added advantage -Experience in overseeing projects using Java / J2EE technologies would be desirable -Knowledge of Commodities Business, Derivatives (Futures and Options), contract management, international shipments and documentation would be an added advantage -Excellent Communication Skills (both written and verbal) -PMP Certification will be an added advantage III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -Overall Delivery Manager for Eka Product implementations / projects. -Strategic Direction & Mission setting for the Delivery Engine, People & Resource Planning, Organization planning, Developing and driving customer satisfaction and quality. -Competency and Skill Development for the complete Delivery team -Pre-sales support, scoping, proposal engineering, solution presentation etc. -Achievement of margin goals in projects -Directing, planning, monitoring projects, process improvement and innovation, empoweri ng others to take action -Build and sustain process driven culture for Consulting, Project execution and delivery IV. SKILLS Demonstrated experience and superior skills in the following areas -Project Management methodology including planning, scheduling, organizing and executing a full life cycle implementation from Kick-off to closure -Ability to be on top of multiple projects from a Cost / Quality / Schedule and Client satisfaction standpoint -Status reporting to client, management and teams -People management, growing leaders and be an effective mentor -Ability to set goals and meet / beat expectations -Ability to translate company's vision into objective deliverables -Ability to effectively interact with Sales, Product Management, Product Engineering and QA to successfully deliver projects -Strong decision making and leadership skills to steer projects / implementations on the right track -Shoul d have successfully delivered many global projects consistently -Ability to build and drive processes across the delivery organization Good exposure or overseeing ability in the following technology areas -N-Tier Architecture, design patterns, Object Oriented Design and Modeling (UML). -Java, J2EE Framework (Servlets, JSP, EJB, XML), Struts Framework, PL-SQL, MVC architecture, Browser based technologies (CSS, JavaScript etc). -SQL queries and analyzing database relationships. -BEA Web Logic / JBoss Application Server -Unit testing with JUnit Framework. -Eclipse, Ant, XML, Javadoc, JUnit
