They are currently seeking an Analytics Manager with a great understanding of the retail industry to provide analytics services to one or more of functions of a Retail business - CRM, store operations & Space Planning, SCM & Logistics, merchandizing, category management, key account management etc. Role & Responsibilities: •Manage project execution through an off-shore team of Sr.Analysts & Analysts to deliver on multiple parallel analytics projects for the Client. Contribute hands-on from on-site when requir ed •Understand the data warehouse environment across functions (especially CRM), Retail industry specific terminologies & business processes, and specific analytic tools & techniques used in delivering analytics for this industry (SQL+, WinSQL, SAS etc). •Interface with client business stakeholders on-site to understand business requirements & translate that into robust analytic project plans •Project Management, and Project Financial Management. •Academics – MBA Marketing (or) MS (or) MSc (Stat/Math/OR/Econometrics) (or) Other degrees with very relevant experience •Experience – 5-8 years of relevant experieince in acquiring the following
Industry Retail: •Specific experience in the Retail environment – either working in analytic teams of retailers or in analytics KPOs or other service providers servicing retailers or consumer product manufacturers. •Specific experience w.r.to delivering an alytics for Retail industry rather than pure operations experience. Understanding data environment of Retailers/CPG manufacturers
